This elegant medium bodied fantastically blended red wine made from Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvedre, and Tinta Amarela was created to complement the limestone quarry of terroir on which it grows. The combination of floral, spicy and sweet notes of this wine makes it a once in a lifetime wine to experience.
This wine is meant to be paired with big flavors like peppercorn steaks, Gamey Biltong, Pork chops with a garlic and leak cream sauce, barbecued ribs with butternut and sweet patato salad, grilled tuna in a Chinese 5 spice braising.
Remember to decant wine for more enjoyment.

Although I am not a fan of any of the constituent wines this blend has been an eye-opener for me and I am currently on a rave about it where ever wine discussions take place. Whether by design or luck this blend has become an astounding wine in the glass. Everything about it is attractive and/or decisive. Your tasting note hardly do justice to the wine.
I will order more!

None of what we ordered disappointed. Lithologic Rock was simply unique: a unique blend that was pleasing on nose, palate and...
The LithoLogic Rock was the first of the Le Roux & Fourie wines I tried and it remains one of my favorites. Truly a one-of-a kind blend that beautifully pays homage to South Africa’s wine country.
